The Aged Black Iron (VO) finish is inspired by the traditional cast iron of the past. To guarantee a low-maintenance and durable product, Dauby uses a high-quality stainless metal alloy which is then coated with a strong black lacquer layer via an electrolysis process. This creates the typical weathered look of old iron with an extra strong coating.
