These furniture handles are handmade using traditional craft techniques. Each piece is therefore unique in shape and finish. Small colour and texture differences are inherent to the character of black steel and contribute to the authenticity and charm of this custom work.
Maintenance of black steel
Black steel is easy to maintain. Regular wiping with a soft cloth keeps the fitting clean and in good condition. Thanks to the robust finish, it is well protected against rust and retains its sturdy appearance. For extra care, we recommend lightly rubbing the fitting with anti-rust oil once or twice a year. This extends the lifespan and strengthens the protective layer. (See images for maintenance tips)
