This plain bearing hinge is made of steel and has a black coating.
These sliding hinges are suitable for every door. The advantage of plain bearing hinges is that they move more smoothly than, for example, ball hinges.
This is a right hinge according to Belgian standards. But note that Belgian right equals DIN left. Not sure which one you need, please order according to the attached drawing.
The easiest is if you look at which way the door opens when you PUSH the door open. If it opens to the right, you need a right, if it opens to the left, you need a left.
The hinge has rounded corners and a button through. This means that the node or pivot point of the hinge is placed off-centre, eliminating the need for criss-cross milling for the node in the frame.
Due to the self-lubricating properties of the plastic plain bearing, the plain bearing hinge is very low-maintenance.
The hinge is 89mm high, 89mm wide when unfolded and has 3mm thick blades.
This product is equipped with a thief pin and SKG*** approved, which means that it is extra heavy burglar-resistant hinges and locks. The hinge has a CE mark and is certified according to the European Standard EN1935:2002+AC:2003 and falls into hinge class 13 and user class 4.
These black burglar-resistant hinges are supplied per piece, excluding mounting material.
