Different shaft sizes for a beard key or keyhole (Figure 1):

If you have a door with a hole for a beard key, different sizes are possible:

The following sizes are usually used in Belgium: 72, 90 and 110mm.

56 and 72 mm are the most common sizes in the Netherlands.

Measure the correct shaft size from the square hole (heart) to the round (top) part of the keyhole.

Different shaft sizes for a profile cylinder (Figure 2):

If you have a door that requires a profile cylinder, the following sizes are common for Belgium: 85, 92 and 110mm.

In the Netherlands people use 55, 72 or 92mm more often.

Measure the correct axle size from the square hole (center) of the lever handle to the center of the round part of the cylinder.

Different shaft sizes for a WC closure (figure 3):

If you have a door in which a toilet set is to be installed, there are also different shaft sizes available.

In Belgium the following sizes are usually used: 78, 90, 96 or 116mm.

In the Netherlands, these three standard sizes are usually used: 57, 63 and 72 mm.

Note: to be able to install a toilet lock, your lock must have 2 square holes.
The correct axis size is then the distance between these 2 square holes (center-to-center).
