The Linus® smart door lock works together with Yale Access accessories, such as the Yale Smart Keypad and the Yale Connect WiFi Bridge.
The Yale Connect WiFi Bridge (sold separately) enables integrations with voice assistants and provides additional remote functionality such as unlocking and locking the door and receiving smart notifications on your smartphone.
The Yale Smart Keypad (sold separately) allows you to give guests and family members a unique code to access your home.
The easy-to-use Yale Access app is free to download for iOS and Android.

Auto Lock & Unlock -
For extra peace of mind, Linus® can automatically lock your door.
This happens immediately when you close the front door behind you or after a period of time set in the Yale Access app.
When you get home, the front door is automatically opened for you thanks to geo-fencing.
This way you never have to search for your keys again, ideal!
Always safe and well secured! †
Your Yale Access account is protected by two-factor authentication.
This means that you must verify your identity with a password and an email address or telephone number.
Our smart door lock Linus® also uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) encryption.
In addition to the security that Bluetooth offers, we use AES 128 and TLS encryption. This security is comparable to internet banking.
If you lose your phone, you can disable your Yale Access account and all virtual keys at any time.
Guest access -
Assign unlimited virtual keys that are valid for a few weeks, a few hours, or even a few minutes.
You no longer have to worry about lost keys.
Access to apps cannot be copied like a key.
Easy installation -
The smart door lock Linus® can be easily installed over the existing cylinder.
You do that on the inside of your front door.
So you not only keep the original keys, but your front door also looks the same from the outside as before!
The smart functions are not visible from the outside.
Notifications and Activities -
Via the Activities feed you can see exactly who comes in and when.
Check who unlocked the door and if and when it was actually opened.
Set up alerts to notify when certain people come home.
DoorSense™ technology -
The lock checks the status of the door and indicates whether the door is open or properly closed.

Battery Life -
Receive notifications when your battery is low so you can replace the batteries in time.
The battery life depends on the number of revolutions per lock, the smoothness of the door opening and the number of openings per day.
With normal use, the batteries last between 6 and 9 months.
Is my cylinder suitable for the Linus® door lock?
Unfortunately, this smart door lock is not suitable for every door.
Below are some cases where the Linus® cannot be used:
- three-point locks which are crank operated
- knob cylinders
- the thickness of your key is more than 6mm
- the key protrudes more than 40mm from the cylinder
- if your cylinder is not equipped with a hazard or DUO function
So you must be able to use a key on the inside and outside at the same time.
